Iboga Therapy House

A Canadian non-profit dedicated to ibogaine education, harm reduction, and responsible advocacy — rebuilding our work with a national focus across Canada.

Who We Are

Iboga Therapy House began in British Columbia as a non-profit supporting people exploring ibogaine-assisted recovery from substance dependence. We are now rebuilding that work with a broader mandate: advocating for honest, evidence-informed information about ibogaine for people and communities across all of Canada, not just one province.

Our focus has shifted from operating a single facility to something we believe is more durable and more needed: education, harm reduction guidance, and advocacy work that helps people make safer, better-informed decisions about ibogaine, wherever in Canada they are.

What We're Building

Education

Clear, honest information about ibogaine's history, mechanism, and realistic expectations, without hype or fear-mongering.

Harm Reduction

Practical safety guidance for people who are considering or already pursuing ibogaine, including the cardiac risks that matter most.

Advocacy

Working toward a Canada-wide conversation about ibogaine policy, access, and responsible, medically-informed care standards.

A note on our history: the original Iboga Therapy House program in B.C. closed due to funding constraints. This site reflects our non-profit's renewed, nationally-focused work — it is not describing an active treatment facility or clinical service.
